2020 Bay Ridge Half Marathon In Brooklyn, NY

This writer had the chance to stay in one of their more expensive hotels right in Times Square in Manhattan, and he's grateful this time again for the opportunity to stay in another of their hotels in Reading, Pennsylvania (PA). This flat and fast course along the Shore Road Promenade in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn is perfect for setting those PRs. All three boats offer great day tours with views of the Manhattan skyline where you are welcome to bring your own picnic. Unlike most of the City's other piers, you don't see land for miles from here; the view is expansive.

I frequently go back, however, and in August 2007 chose one of the more gorgeous days of the year to stroll along the pedestrian walkway along the water from Owls Head Park to about 80th Street, taking in the waterfront views, as well as the remaining Shore Road mansions.

The largest park, Owl's Head, contains rolling hills, newyork walking trails, a playground area, a skate park, and stunning views of the New York skyline. The Brooklyn Bridge Park Community Eco Dock is located in the beautiful Brooklyn Bridge Park and offers free walk-up public kayaking.

Once a hidden gem of Brooklyn, Bay Ridge is not so hidden anymore. Sunset at Riverside Park South: On Riverside Boulevard at Riverside Park South there is a new 600-ft pier. And by the turn of the 20th Century, the German population in Little Germany had shrunk to around 50,000 people, still a sizable amount for any ethnic neighborhood in New York City.

Designated as a park in 1999, this beautiful place was named in honor of the brave firefighter, Louis Valentino Jr. Although most people come to this park for the expansive views, other attractions you might be interested in include the Waterfront Museum, Beard Street Pier, and the Red Hook Recreation Area.
