Mykonos Beaches Guide

Europeans often do not share the American sense of modesty and nudist beaches are numerous, widely popular, and socially acceptable. Located roughly 4.5 km from Mykonos town on the North end of the island, it can only be reached by a car. This is the perfect family environment with its shallow, crystal waters and number of shops and restaurants in the area. Any holiday spent on Mykonos is set to be memorable, with nightlife, luxury beach clubs, international restaurants and some of the best summer retail in the world, but it is for its beaches that many return again, and again.

This is where you find the famous Tropicana Beach Bar and Sunrise Bar, with non-stop parties during the day, and well into the night. Kapari is a sandy beach, hidden in rocks and one of the least organized and busy beaches on Mykonos. What's more, you'll find the international music scene's most famous DJs here: another reason why the very young choose this as their favourite holiday beach, often not bothering to visit any other sites.

St. Stefanos: This small cove north of Mykonos town is less known to tourists, meaning that its soft sand and crystal clear waters remain relatively peaceful all year. These islands also have quaint fishing villages, seal watching opportunities, as well as an ancient language and culture.

Take the bus from Paradise Beach back to Mykonos Town. Ornos is an amazing sandy beach with crystal clear Greece waters and very large sun beds with hanging drapes to make shadow. There is a beach tavern and water sports available, but this beach features a long sandy space and clear blue water for you to relax and enjoy.

Mesmerizing clear blue water, majestic volcanic mountains, monument of a bygone era and the impeccable beaches will entice you. You can enjoy an amazing coast and some lovely beaches in the very town of Mykonos. Do not be fooled by its name, although it is located right next to Paradise Beach, it is a smaller beach, although with the same party.

OK, here's the thing - other than the partying, I didn't find Ibiza to be as beautiful as Mykonos or have as much to offer like great restaurants and fantastic culture. A young lively party-beach with many bars spilling out onto the sand. When we look for beautiful beaches in Mykonos, you can plan your Greece holiday in North coast which is less developed but very beautiful with less crowd and quite place for your Greece luxury vacations.
